Please read the following general rules that govern your use of FragmentsShop.com.au and note that your use of our site constitutes your agreement to abide by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site. Fragments may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes that we make to the Terms and Conditions of Use will be effective immediately upon publication.
We cannot guarantee that the colours of products sold on this site will be accurately represented on your computer monitor.
At all times we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of information on this site. However, on occasion the site may contain inaccuracies that are entirely unintentional. We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions without prior notice.
Fragments will not be held responsible for items ordered incorrectly by a customer. Nor will we accept responsibility for goods delivered to the wrong address in the event that the incorrect address was supplied by the customer.
Should Fragments be responsible for dispatching the wrong goods or sending items to an address other than the one supplied to us, we shall rectify the problem at our expense. Our liability is limited to the cost of supplying the correct goods to the correct address. At no time will Fragments be liable for any expense beyond this.
All products sold on this site are warranted by Fragments for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The faulty item will be either repaired or replaced if due to a manufacturing defect at the discretion of Fragments. The purchaser must be able to provide proof of purchase.
We employ Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure the security of your information ensuring shopping at FragmentsShop.com.au is safe.
We will happily exchange Door, Window & Cabinet Hardware, Curtain Fittings and Electrical items that are in original, saleable condition for a period of 28 days from placement of your order. Unfortunately, no exchange is available on Lighting, Tapware, Pressed Tin, Paint or Wallpaper. You are responsible for all postage, courier and handling charges involved in an exchange. Please note you must contact us for approval prior to returning any item you wish to exchange.
Please note that, as per Consumer Affairs & Fair Trading Tasmania guidelines, refunds will only be given if certain conditions apply. See details below.
We will provide a refund if the product supplied:
- Is faulty or damaged
That is, it is broken or will not work.
- Is unfit for purpose
That is, it will not do what it is supposed to do. For example, a window fitting that does not work on a window. Please note a sash window fitting is not unfit for purpose because it does not work properly on a casement window.
- Does not agree with description
For example, a polished brass fitting instead of a polished chrome fitting.
- Does not comply with the sample shown
The goods sold to the customer were different to the item advertised or on display.
We will not provide a refund if:
- You change your mind after buying the item
- You found it cheaper elsewhere
- You decided it was too expensive
- You knew about a particular fault prior to purchase
- You were responsible for causing the fault or damage
We will not refund postage, courier and handling charges.
